On Tuesday today, the head and members of the Yemeni Students' Union in Istanbul met with the International Office of Skyline Education in preparation for the 2023 agenda between the International Office at Skyline and the Yemeni Students' Union in Istanbul.

The meeting between the union and Skyline Education, represented by the company’s director, "Hossam Al-Saleh," as well as several representatives from the board of directors, focused on discussing the union’s agenda for the coming year and the mechanisms of cooperation and support that Skyline Education will provide to the Yemeni Students' Union in Istanbul.

Both parties confirmed their shared vision regarding Yemeni students, which is to overcome the legal obstacles facing Yemeni students and new arrivals from outside Turkey. They also discussed several programs and plans that the Yemeni Students' Union is seeking to launch, such as winter tourism trips, group iftar programs during Ramadan, and other events that the union is scheduled to launch next year.

During the meeting, some of the problems faced by new Yemeni students were discussed, as well as the possibility of Skyline Education contributing to solving them through its official agreements with international offices at private universities.

The financial director of Skyline Holding, "Saad Al-Nakhlani," emphasized during the meeting that "Skyline Education’s door is always open for any logistical support that can be provided to Yemeni students in Turkey, as well as for helping to find solutions to any problems that may arise for the students or the union, in addition to our support for academic, educational, and recreational programs."

Al-Nakhlani also pointed out that "the union’s activities are now clearly visible in all Turkish universities, and we take pride as Yemenis and Arabs in the Turkish Republic to have such high-level representation."

Alaa Qizan, the head of the Yemeni Students' Union in Istanbul, stated, "Our goal is to work with international offices, including Skyline Education, so that the Istanbul branch of the union leads the overall union and accommodates all Yemeni students through university representatives reaching every Yemeni student. This, in turn, will undoubtedly empower students in many fields, especially in the academic and media sectors, through the establishment of specialized courses and programs, in addition to the focus on recreational and sports activities."

Qizan stressed that "working to safeguard the interests of Yemeni students, providing them with services, advocating for their issues before governmental and private institutions, and striving to provide scholarships and increasing the number of scholarships offered by donor institutions are among our most important tasks."

He expressed his "sincere thanks to Skyline Education and its management for their continuous efforts to support the Yemeni Students' Union in Istanbul and other Turkish provinces."

According to the union’s official website, the Yemeni Students' Union is the official representative body for Yemeni students in Turkey. It serves the students by defending their rights and advocating for their issues before governmental and private institutions. The union also works on receiving Yemeni students arriving to study in Turkey, streamlining their procedures, and providing various cultural, training, and recreational programs and activities.

It is worth mentioning that the Yemeni Students' Union in Turkey has become one of the most important and effective foreign student union organizations in Turkey, earning praise from many Turkish officials. It has also become the center of attention for all Arab and non-Arab student union organizations in Turkey.
